Cheesy Garlic Bread
Sometimes we want a tasty bread to go with our main course. Something a bit more than an ordinary slice of bread. Something like this Cheesy Garlic Bread! The other day when we were enjoying our Lasagna I made us some Cheesy Garlic Bread to go along with it, as well as a salad. The nice thing about this recipe is that it is a small batch recipe. I give the quantities for one slice, and you can easily multiply that to make as many slices as you want!
It also gave me the opportunity to use something from my December Degustabox. The Very Lazy Chopped Garlic. I've actually been using it off and on for a few weeks now anyways, but this is the first time I took the opportunity to photograph it with what I was/did create.
As those of you who have been reading me for a while know, I am the lucky recipient of the gift of a Degustabox each month. Once a month, around the middle of the month, I am gifted with one of these lovely boxes which contain a delicious assortment of all things foodie. I just love these boxes.
Opening each one is tiny a bit like opening a Christmas gift to me. Always a surprise, and always filled with things that pique my interest and desire to try. Degustabox is a monthly foodie subscription service that sends out a range of 10 to 15 specially selected foodie products. I even have a code that can give you which will give you a £5 discount off of your first box. I will tell you about that at the end. I have been getting these boxes for a couple of years now and I have to say I have never been disappointed.
The December 2019 Box was entitled the Gourmet & Fiesta Box. It was filled with lots of goodies for us to try and to enjoy.

So I chose the Lazy Garlic to use in a recipe this month. It was a natural choice really as I use garlic a lot in my cooking.
The Very Lazy Chopped Garlic is so very easy to use. There is no peeling, no chopping . . .
Your fingers don't smell afterwards, nor does your cutting board . . . easy peasy and nice and garlicky.
It works very well in recipes where it is going to be cooked or mixed into other things, such as this Cheesy Garlic Bread.
This is incredibly delicious by the way. I use three kinds of cheeses. Mozzarella, Cheddar and Parmesan.
I do prefer to grate my own cheeses from scratch. The Cheddar gives you plenty of scrumptious flavour here as does the Parmesan . . .
The Mozzarella gives you oooze . . . .
Altogether they give you something that is incrdibly edibly scrumtiously tasty!

I wanted to be able to show you some of the ooze here, but unfortunately a telephone call in the middle of my photography meant the moment for ooze slipped by. I can tell you however that even cold, this Cheesy Garlic Bread is scrumdiddlyumptious!
